I’ve been writing fiction since I was old enough to hold a crayon. Writing has always been my outlet, a way to escape into a world of my own making. For many years, I was a journalist, editor and humor columnist. I gave up the newspaper ink for a job in marketing and advertising. I partnered with a good friend and we wrote a screenplay that did quite well and earned us several trips to Hollywood. Life got complicated and for a few years, I had to set fiction writing aside but there were always stories swirling in my mind. By 2013, the fiction call won and I left the corporate world to focus on honing my craft. My first novel, Sons of Dust, was published in 2014. I’m currently working on three long fiction projects as well as short stories. When I’m not writing, I’m in the kitchen. I love to cook and spend time around a table with family and friends, sharing stories, laughter and good food.
