I've always believed every family has a story they're afraid to tell. Maybe that's why I write mysteries.
Writing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began my career as a journalist, editor, and humor columnist before trading newspaper deadlines for the world of marketing and advertising. Along the way, a good friend and I wrote an award-winning screenplay that took us from New England to Hollywood and reminded me that storytelling was where I truly belonged.
In 2013, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and devote myself to fiction full time. My debut novel, Sons of Dust, reached #1 in Amazon's Horror category eleven times before building a strong readership on Inkitt and leading to a publishing contract with the digital fiction platform Galatea.
Today, I write psychological suspense, historical mysteries, supernatural thrillers, and the occasional horror novel—all connected by a common thread: ordinary people confronting extraordinary circumstances, long-buried secrets, and the choices that define us.
I'm a two-time Claymore Award winner, an award-winning screenwriter, and my short fiction has appeared in published anthologies. I'm represented by literary agent Ginny Lee and am always at work on the next story that's keeping me awake at night.
When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me in the kitchen cooking for family and friends, volunteering with the Ayer Area Rotary Club, or happily disappearing down research rabbit holes that somehow become entire novels.
